Magners Launches New TV Campaign

Shot on location in and around Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, the home of the Magners Irish Cider brand, 'Indoor Celebration' depicts a busy time in the orchards, with workers celebrating the end of a long day's work with a refreshing pint of Magners over ice.
Reflecting the easy sociability of the Irish, inherent in the Magners Original Cider brand, a central theme of the advert is the importance of making time for enjoyment once the hard work of the day is done.
The orchards in Annerville, Clonmel, are the setting for a sociable gathering in a marquee, where groups of harvest workers, their friends and neighbours gather to enjoy an evening's craic and company, as the Irish music, song and dance flows along with the Magners Original Cider.
Maurice Breen, Marketing Director, Wm Magner Ltd, said "Our new commercial perfectly reflects the sociability, friendship and easygoing atmosphere that is a feature of Irish social gatherings, with Magners Irish Cider over ice the perfect accompaniment to the festivities".
Featuring the enchanting track 'Galway Girl' by Steve Earle accompanied by Sharon Shannon, and devised by Young Euro RSCG, the campaign commences on March 3rd and will run across all television stations. A new 48 sheet Outdoor campaign will support the television advert, and will feature a pint bottle of Magners Original Cider surrounded by harvested cider apples.
